Highland's Women's ministry exists for the purpose of helping the church to surrender ourselves to God, strengthen ourselves in God's Word and shine the light of God's love to Moore and beyond.
"...be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work."
2 Timothy 2:21

TO KNOW HIM AND MAKE HIM KNOWN!
-Mary sat at Jesus’ feet listening to His teachings (Luke 10:39).
-Hannah needed to be encouraged when she faced disappointment in life (I Samuel 1:10).
-Naomi’s relationship with God encouraged her daughter-in-law, Ruth, to seek a personal relationship with God (Ruth 1:16).
-Esther, Deborah, Priscilla, and Dorcus served the Lord in the days in which they lived (Esther, Judges 4:4, Romans 16:3-4, Acts 9).
-Lois and Eunice encouraged faith in their children (II Timothy 1:5).
Although we live in a different time and culture, today’s women still have the same needs. Highland's Women’s Ministry offers opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship and encouragement; service; and outreach.
We do this with a desire to see each woman increasingly know God better, love Him and live a life pleasing to Him in every way.
We invite you to join us!

A time of spiritual and personal refreshment through special speakers and fellowship. A great time to get to know one another better. It’s a relaxing and fun weekend you won’t want to miss!
SECRET SISTERS:
A mentoring ministry linking two women together for the purpose of intentionally learning and growing together in Christ through spiritual accountability, prayer, encouragement, role modeling, and sharing life experiences.
NOURISHING SPIRITUAL INTIMACY:
A ministry that seeks to encourage women in their personal walk with Christ.
SPECIAL EVENTS:
Special luncheons or evenings with speakers and programs with a three-fold purpose: spiritual enrichment; to provide a time to strengthen our relationships through fellowship, shared interests, fun, and encouragement; and to offer an outreach opportunity to invite women from outside Highland.
Women of Highland, both married and single, of varying ages and phases of life, serve together in developing the ministry. Through the Spirit’s guidance and enabling we endeavor to provide ministry that is relevant to every woman in the church. We want to reach out to new women and involve as many women as possible in serving Christ and others.
If you would like to be involved in serving through women’s ministry, contact any of the ministry leaders.
We welcome ideas, would like to hear your interests, and be made aware of your needs.
