Update on Daniel Graham's Grandson Ben

It seems something caused him to pass out in the hallway of his apt. complex and he laid there to the point of hyper flexing and he was suffering severely from hypothermia. Once they were able to get his vitals normalized everything was okay. He still needs your prayers over the past few years he has drifted from the Lord and has not been in church for some time. He was accidentally shot when he was 12, He lives in an apt complex for special need individuals. They found him this morning in the hallway of his apartment complex unresponsive and was rushed to the emergency room where they were unable to get a blood pressure reading. As best they can determine at this time he was suffering from some kind of drug over dose. Ben in on a great many meds including morphine for pain, As of this writing he is in critical condition in ICU and responding to treatment. At this time they cannot determine the extent of the problems due to the over dose. His condition prognosis is guarded at best. Thank you for your prayers\"

Submitted by: Lacy Gardner-North Hills | When Alex was one year old he started having seizures in his sleep. He started loosing muscle movement and pretty much stopped progressing at all. This past summer (2009) he was taken down to Primary Children's Hospital because he wasn't urinating. They did a bunch of tests and found that his brain was shrinking and they gave him one year to live. He stopped eating and they had to give him a feeding tube, he started having more seizures, even while he was awake.
We we were given the opportunity for a group of people to go pray for him and there was a church bulletin placed up to pray for Alex. Since then he hasn't been having as many seizures, and is using his muscles more and even progressing with the help of a couple different exercise toys!!! PRAYER WORKS!! Lucas Law

There was an accident that placed him in the hospital and the doctors said he wasn't going to live and the family had three days to say their goodbyes. I immediately called everyone I could to get them to pray for him and day by day, surgery after surgery, and one disturbing prediction after another( of sight loss, paralysis, and brain damage ). Submitted by: Angela Davis | Hi all, Just wanted to let you all know that Brandon saw the Neurosurgeon yesterday and it seems that he is going to finally get to the bottom of things. He is referring him to an endocronologist for his enlarged putitiary gland and is ordering a lot of labwork. Also he is scheduling a ct scan/angiogramof his arteries and veins of the brain. Brandon said that the doctor told him that the ct scans done at the naval hospital were not the right ones. He is scheduled for the 20th to have this done and is to report to the neurosurgeon right after the procedure is complete. He should have all of the done by this day. Hopefully we will be able to finally get the answers and on our way to a solution. Thnak you all for the prayers. I do believe that they are the reason we all feel such relief. Brandon is actually going to go back to work. Just hearing the relief in his voice yesterday helped to put me at ease.

He stated he thought it was headaches caused by tension in his shoulders and neck. I hope he is right. Brandon is also scheduled for an MRI on the 14th of May to take a closer look at his pituitary gland. Submitted by: Angela Davis | Update: I found out from one of the doctors at the hospital that his pituitary gland is slightly enlarged and they will be checking his prolactin level which is one of the things checked for with unexplained headaches. He also on his posterior communicating artery has a 1.7 mm aneurysm. I was told that it is very small and they will be watching it closely. He will be getting a phone call from a Neuro sergeon to do a neuro work-up on him. I will be talking to cardiologist and endocrine doctors that I work with to see what they think of this. Help for my nephew
Submitted by: Judy Merriman | My nephew, J. Foy McMaster, III is in ICU in a hospital in Dayton Ohio. Foy has been fighting cancer for the last 20 or so years. About 2 weeks ago the hospital was preparing to release to hospice services when the cancer treatments he had received finally began to work. About a week ago he was released to home, but almost immediately began having a lot of trouble getting around. He was re-admitted to the hospital to determine why he was having these problems. The determination was that there had been so much brain damage from the cancer (in the motor area) that he was going to have to go into rehab to relearn to walk. He then developed a high temperature, and was diagnosed with spinal meningitis. Antibiotic therapy was started yesterday, but his temp is still high today and they have transferred him to ICU. I will ask for prayer that his condition improve enough for him to attend his sister's wedding which will occur in late June to mid July of this year. Our entire family has prayed for years that my niece, Susan would find happiness in a man of God's choice, and she became engaged for the first time yesterday evening. Susan is in her mid forties, so you can understand our joy. If it is His Will, we would all be very happy if Foy can share our joy for her. Foy has been in a coma since yesterday afternoon, so doesn't even know Susan's news. Your prayers will be greatly appreciated. | 04-02-2009 |

Prayers for a faithful friend/Gary Moody

It has been found on his liver and behind his lung.The Doctors opinion is that without chemo treatments he has approx. 3 months to live. If he takes the treatments he could possibly live another 8 years. However, It is also The Doctor's opion that during the remaining years that new tumors will most likely grow. Gary is wrestling with the decsion if treatments would be worth taking or not. At this time his health is rapidly declining. He is having difficulty eating, because one of the tumors is pressing against his stomach causing a great deal of reflux and indigestion in his throat and stomach. And he is also dealing with severe pain on his side. Gary Moody is and has been a dedicated friend, not only to me but to many countless people. He is a man who is there for any one in need. He will feed you if you are hungry, repair your vehicle, your house, mow your lawn, helped others in financial need if he had the money even if it were his last dollar,he gave. And it never mattered if he knew you or not. He cared for me when I was sick, he drove me to Doctor appts. and anywhere else that I needed to go. He also did the same for many others as well. And he always make sure there are cookies in his cookie jar even though he himself doesn't eat cookies. He recently asked Jesus into his heart and says he has been talking to God quite a lot. Please pray that the Lord leads him to make the right decsion regarding treatment. And for healing.And especially that he feels Gods love for him.

Submitted by: Ron | I just received news from my sister Linda Talley that after all the tests were evaluated she was told that she does have cancer of the left kidney and it has spread to her lungs. This is stage 4, she will need to decide if she wants treatment or not. This would involve;
removal of the kidney - 1 week in Hospital
recovery - 2-3 weeks
start radiation chemo 6-7 weeks
The Doctor does not seen optimistic on the treatment results and estimates she has 6-12 months.

Ruth Curnutt update

Update on Scott Perkins brain tumor
Submitted by: Pastor Dave from Shelly | I just wanted to let everyone know about Scott's appointment today. Scott had his MRI yesterday and we already received the results back today. The cancer is non-enhancing (which is good) and it is responding to the chemotherapy. There were very SUBTLE changes, but good changes that it is slowly shrinking in mass. They said it may take quite some time, but they are confident that his current chemotherapy is a good medication for him. They're wanting to increase his dosage. The docs here are getting in touch with our Oklahoma docs to finalize his next dosage. He will still be doing 5 days of chemo per 28 days for at least the next year. We are happy with the results. As long as it stays the same or does not get worse, then we are happy. We will have to return to DC in three months for more testing. We're finished with his appointments here and are flying out tomorrow. We are going to fly up to Watertown to see Scott's parents and grandparents over the next few days and then back to his appointment with his oncologist in Oklahoma City. | 04-18-2008 |

In my previous prayer request I asked that you pray for Jr. because he has some very serious heart problems. He has had doctors tell him there was a possiblity of a heart transplant because of the condition of his heart. Then last week they did several tests on him and told him he would probably get either a pace maker or a defibulator. Well, today when he went to the heart specialist who ran the test he told him there was nothing wrong except two leaky valves which is fairly common. He said that the severe pain in his chest and the loss of breath could be nothing more than anxiety attacks. There is still a concern because there is such a big difference of opinion between doctors. However, we have been praying for him .......And God is the Great Physician!

This week from the 25th - 28th Feb., we are moving to Kitgum in Northern Uganda which has been affected by war for the last 21 years. Virtually no work has been done in this area in the last 21 years, and we are going to train the pastors and cast the vision for church planting. We are expecting over 50 pastors to attend. After that, we will be moving to Sudan to a place called Ekoto to do the same training, from the 26th - 29th Feb. Then from the 1st - 7th March we are going to do an exploration work to the Ikoto area in Sudan and the Karamoja area in Uganda. These two areas are virgin lands were almost no mission work has been taking place. The people of these areas are warriors and everybody fears to go there. We are willing to take the risk to try and make contacts within this people group and lay the groundwork for future mission work in this area. The place is remote and the people are still primitive. There are no proper roads, no hotels, no restaurants. We are carrying our own camping equipment and food.

Pray for a family in Germany
Submitted by: Pastor Dave | My name is Steve Masslock; I live in Germany with my wife and 3 children. The Lord put into the hearts of my wife and myself a desire to become a Pastor. This happened 4 years ago. We have since been praying and trying to figure how we are to do this. But the Lord works with His own time schedule and sometimes our time is not yet come for what He is trying to prepare us for. We feel that we are moving in the right direction now. The desire in short form is to open a Christian bookstore here in Germany where people can come in browse through our books and sit down and read. We of course want people to buy the books, but sometimes that isn’t feasible due to financial situations. And the Gospel should be made available to everyone. We also want to have services on Sundays in the store, it would serve multiple purposes and all for the same goal; reaching souls. There is nothing here as far as I can find that resembles our idea. Most bookstores are just that with only a few Christ centered selections and you don’t dare try and read in the store.
